VITO FT CONNECT
- How to use VITO FT CONNECT
How to measure the oil quality
Important! For accurate readings, let the oil rest for approximately 20 minutes after frying. Do not fry food during the measurement process.
Press ON/OFF and use the arrow keys to select the fryer. Confirm your selection with a short press of ON/OFF.
Immerse the sensor into the oil, ensuring it stays within the MIN/MAX markings. The NextStep indicator will prompt you to start stirring.
Stir gently until the displayed temperature matches the oil temperature. This process takes approximately 20 seconds.
The measurement is complete when the TPM value on the display stops flashing and the NextStep indicator suggests stopping the stirring. Save the measurement by briefly pressing the down arrow key.
Oil Quality Indicators:
Good oil quality: Green indicator light blinks
Moderate oil quality: Yellow indicator light blinks
Poor oil quality: Red indicator light blinks
Remove the sensor from the oil and wipe it with a soft cloth. For heavy residue, apply high-proof alcohol/spirit to the cloth before cleaning.
After saving the measurement, the tester is immediately ready for the next reading. Simply repeat steps 3-8 or store the tester in its case until the next use.
